InstaPCB (“InstaPCB”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates instapcb.com, a platform that lets customers in India upload printed-circuit-board (PCB) design files, receive an instant all-inclusive price in Indian Rupees, and have their boards fabricated and delivered. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to price, manufacture, and deliver your order:

Account & contact details — your email address, and (at checkout) your name and phone number. Customer accounts are passwordless; we send a secure sign-in link to your email rather than storing a password.
Order & delivery information — the shipping address you provide, your board specifications, and your order history.
Uploaded design files — the Gerber/CAD archives you upload for quoting and fabrication (see Section 3).
Payment information — payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details; we only receive a payment reference and status.
Technical & usage data — basic information such as your IP address and browser type, and essential cookies required to keep you signed in (see our Cookies Policy).

2. How we use your information

To generate quotes and process, manufacture, and deliver your orders.
To create and secure your account and let you track orders and raise support tickets.
To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.
To send transactional messages (sign-in links, order status, support replies).
To comply with tax, customs, and other legal obligations.
To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.

3. Your design files

Your uploaded design files are confidential. We use them solely to analyse, price, and manufacture your boards. To fabricate your order, the necessary files are shared with our fabrication partner (JLCPCB) strictly for production. We do not sell your designs or share them with any party for marketing, and we do not claim ownership of your intellectual property.

We share personal information only with parties that help us deliver the service, and only to the extent needed:

JLCPCB — our overseas fabrication partner, which manufactures your boards. This includes the necessary design files and the shipping details for our consolidation hub.
Razorpay — our payment processor.
Logistics & courier partners — international freight forwarders and domestic couriers who deliver your order.
Government & regulatory authorities — where required for customs clearance, tax, or by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. International transfers

Because your boards are fabricated overseas and consolidated before shipping to India, some information (such as your design files and hub-shipping details) is processed outside India, including in China. We take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers are limited to what is necessary for fulfilment.

6. Data retention

We retain order and account records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your account data, subject to records we are legally required to keep.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and passwordless sign-in. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and limit access to it.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Children

InstaPCB is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
